Basic Hostage Negotiations Class
This course meets TCOLE, FBI and TAHN standards for basic Negotiator Training. It will be taught by Negotiators from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Navarro County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies. Representatives from the Texas Association of Hostage Negotiators will be at the class to assist with TAHN memberships and answer any training questions for TAHN members. The first four days of training are classroom instruction and practical exercises. Day five is scenario-based training and a final exam.
The class will be limited to no more than 30 people. The class is $100 for TAHN members and $140 for non-members. TAHN membership is included in the $140. The class will meet in the Cargil Room of the Convention Complex.
